The hike to Grand Park via the Lake Eleanor Trail leads you through peaceful old-growth forest, past the quiet waters of Lake Eleanor, and into the wide, open meadows of Grand Park with sweeping views of Mount Rainier rising beyond the horizon. Grand Park is one of the most underrated trails in Mount Rainier National Park and has everything Mt Rainier has to offer with significantly less people. Bring a swimsuit if you'd like, there will be an opportunity to cool off in Lake Eleanor!​
